Right now Floss Fox collects nothing. There are no accounts, analytics, ads, tracking scripts or cookies. The thread list you paste is processed entirely in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Saved projects. If you choose “Save project”, that project (thread list, quantities, Have/Check/Buy choices, notes) is stored in your own browser's local storage on this device only. It is never uploaded, and Floss Fox can't see it. It isn't synced between devices, and clearing site data, private browsing, or the browser itself can delete it, so use “Download backup” to keep a copy. Delete a project, or clear this site's data in your browser settings, to remove it.
Our hosting provider (e.g. GitHub Pages or Netlify) may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and operations. That's handled under their own privacy policy.
The shopping list can show "Buy at …" links to stores such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Some may be affiliate links, and they are labelled next to the links. Floss Fox itself sets no cookies and sends nothing to these stores while you use it: the links do nothing until you click one. Once you click a link and leave Floss Fox, the store and its affiliate network (for example CJ Affiliate) may set cookies so they can credit Floss Fox for a purchase. Those cookies are covered by the store's and the network's own privacy policies. Store links open a search on the store's site; Floss Fox doesn't know their prices or stock.
